Compassionate Ear Warm Line

The Compassionate Ear Warm Line is a bilingual peer-operated listening service for persons in need of support. The English line operates from 4 pm—10 pm, every day of the week. The Spanish line operates Monday through Friday from 4pm-7pm. Warm Line operators are volunteers and work out of their homes. To receive peer support through Compassionate Ear, dial 1-866-WARM EAR.

Compassionate Ear WarmLine

  • Provides non-clinical, non-crisis supportive listening, coping strategies, information, and provides a reprieve from loneliness and isolation.
  • Offers training, employment, and volunteer opportunities for persons with mental illness. Calls are routed to the operator's home in order to create a volunteer opportunity that is accessible to many individuals.

If you are interested in volunteering contact Lois Hohn or Mayella Gamez (Spanish) for more information.
